“ A lovely café with a good selection of cakes and various coffee specialties. We had our small children and dog with us. I can't say whether they have a high chair. Everything else was taken care of very courteously. The fact that they don't accept card payments is a bit outdated, but it didn't bother most people, including us. This is mentioned at the beginning, and there's a bank across the street for emergencies. It's in a quiet location in downtown Hopfgarten, and you can sit inside or outside. The service was friendly and attentive. ”

“ I've been to Café Lois several times now, and each time there are new cakes and delicacies to discover. I particularly recommend the chestnut cake and the vanilla chocolate cheesecake at the moment. They also have great breakfast options (overnight oats, banana bread with topping, or something hearty but delicious: the cinnamon rolls!). And the oat milk cappuccino alone is worth the trip for me. It's great that there's such a good and chic café in Hopfgarten. ”

“ We come whenever we're in Hopfgarten – we love it! I wanted to write a review the first year, but I think it's okay to do it the second year! ... We get recognized, thank you (well, a woman certainly doesn't forget oddballs like me over there! It's always pleasant. This year (is that the right term?) I had to play the "explainer" again (please Google it if you don't know) and tell the boss number 1 or 2??? that her interior designer cheated her with the furniture! And we love it - coffee is top-notch - !!!! Cake, our favorite cake, amazing!!! Super friendly - nice guests too!!! Um, I don't dare! But even my husband is getting "fired up" in the second year!!! So, there's one little thing I have to get off my chest. A few photos confirmed that there was also fruit cake in the first year! My wife has a sweet tooth and noticed immediately (because she loves fruit cake) and that the wonderful cakes are baked a bit "drier"! It would be nice if things could go back to the way they were originally! Could !!! Because we'll still gladly come!! If we're still allowed! Regarding the tiresome card payment issue, just this: Statistics! We were there three times that week! At our favorite café. On two occasions, a group left – once with four people and once with three (their disappointment was plain to see!!!!!). We spend an average of €22-25 per person plus tip! If we consider that, the loss – there were still seats available, albeit a tight one!!! – was... 7 x €22 = €154 plus tip. Loss or lost profit of an ESTIMATED €60? With an investment of approximately 1.5% of the revenue (estimated!!), that's €2. There are payment apps (doesn't have to be P...l!!!!). I think that's important these days! Writing an invoice certainly isn't desired either! I would advise it! Because it also limits the revenue! If I pay by card, I have to... Don't even think about it! Attention, I only have €50 cash left! Maybe a bottle of sparkling wine – or some knick-knacks from the shelf? Otherwise, everything's great, and sorry for being a know-it-all again.
